SINCE WE MET 10 YEARS AGO...
Chris has been in 3 bands and Aki has opened 4 major museums. We’ve collectively lived in 7 apartments and worked 8 jobs. Together, we founded and managed 3R5, an online art collective, and Brooklyn Outloud, an art-based non-profit.
We’ve traveled to 24 states and attended 25 weddings. We’ve kayaked in California and hiked in a Hawaiian rainforest. We’ve roller- skated in Memphis and stood on a volcano. We’ve been to hundreds of concerts and have learned 3 instruments.
We’ve cried at 1 presidential election and cheered at 1 presidential election. We’ve lost loved ones that we miss so much and we’ve welcomed our friend’s and family’s new babies into the world.
We have countless memories that we’ve created together and we’re ready for a lifetime more!

Suit and tie for men, festive cocktail for women.
The Ceremony and Reception are both outdoors
so it may cool down during the evening.
We will be walking a little and dancing a lot. The reception venue has outdoor pebble floors, so we recommend relatively comfortable shoes.
The Afterparty is loosely themed as vintage rock glam,
so if you feel like dressing sharp, fancy, sparkily,
or feathery – go for it!
Since Oct. 6th-8th is Columbus Day Weekend, please book your hotel room soon!
We have a courtesy block of rooms at two downtown Brooklyn hotels for Friday

Carroll Park and Frankies 457 Sputino are both located off of the Carroll stop on the F and G trains.
Guests coming from the Marriott can take a taxi to the park, its less than 10 minutes away, get directions.
Guests coming from the Holiday Inn are also just a short cab ride away, get directions.
The Afterparty at the Red Lotus Room is located near the C Train Franklin Ave stop and the 2/3/4/5 Franklin Ave stop.
Shuttles
Transportation will be provided between the Reception and the Afterparty. Shuttles will take the first group to the Afterparty at 9:40 pm and the second at 10pm.
Shuttles will depart from the Afterparty at 11:30 pm, 12:30 am, and 1:30 am. Each shuttle will drop off guests at the both the Marriott and the Holiday Inn Express.
Guests who are not staying at the hotels should feel free to take the shuttle if it gets them closer to home.
